How to Get a TIN
To receive payments on Gavag, you must enter your TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) in the bank details section. If you do not have a TIN yet, you can obtain one online using one of the options below.
-
Option 1 — MyTAX app
Recommended · fastest method
The State Revenue Committee (SRC) lets individual drivers get a TIN through the MyTAX mobile app without submitting a separate application.
- Download the MyTAX app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android — search for “My tax Armenia”).
- Sign in as an RA citizen via YesEm (mobile ID card required).
- On the home screen, tap “Taxi Service” → “Get”.
- Your TIN is issued instantly.
Note. Foreign citizens sign in with their TIN and password, or may register at an SRC service office.
-
Option 2 — SRC electronic services
- Instant (YesEm). Go to self-portal.taxservice.am, sign in with YesEm and obtain your TIN immediately.
- Via e-request.am. Register at e-request.am, submit an application to the SRC with a copy of your passport/ID and SSN (or a certificate that you do not have one). The TIN is emailed within one business day.
